Born out of Clinical Experience

Expert Physical Therapist and Traumatic Brain Injury Specialist Jonathan Parr (PT, CSCS, EP, MCMT, CBIS) invented the MATRIX. It’s based on years of clinical experience treating patients with Parkinson’s, MS, TBI, Spinal Cord Injury, and other lower neurological deficits.

How is MATRIX Different?

Safe. Stable. Comfortable.

Ergonomic hand grips to reduce patient strain.

Large wheels to meet whatever terrain your patients encounter (carpet, tile, door jambs)

A wider base of support for greater stability.

Flexible Support

Injection-molded nylon straps support either one leg at a time or both legs simultaneously. The bungee cords actively assist with lower-limb advancement as your patients prepare for fully functional ambulation. The straps improve stance control, gait fluidity, and step cadence.

Customize and Get Going

With a simple cam lock, you can fully adjust the MATRIX Gait Trainer’s bungee cord system medially, laterally, and in tension. Adjust the height while staying eye level with your patient. The height-adjustable handle system eliminates bending down to adjust the height at the wheels. Staying engaged with your patient at all times has never been easier. Staffing requirements are reduced when you don’t need a second therapist to help with setup.
